This Privacy Policy explains how Rocket Digital Limited (“SelfAI”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use the SelfAI – AI Photo Studio mobile app, web app and website (https://www.selfaiphoto.app). SelfAI operates the AI Headshot Generator, AI Portrait Generator and AI Profile Picture Maker available on iOS, Android and the web.
1. Information We Collect
- Photos you upload. Selfies and reference images used to generate AI headshots and portraits.
- Account data. Email address, authentication identifiers, and device identifiers.
- Purchases and subscriptions. Managed via RevenueCat and the platform stores (Apple App Store, Google Play).
- Usage and diagnostics. App events, crash logs and performance data.
- Marketing identifiers. Where permitted by platform consent, advertising identifiers used with Google AdMob, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI headshots, AI portraits and AI profile pictures you request.
- To operate your SelfAI account, authenticate you and deliver premium features.
- To process subscriptions and in-app purchases.
- To measure app performance, diagnose crashes and improve the AI Photo Studio.
- To run marketing and attribution — only where you have consented on your device.
3. Sub-processors We Rely On
SelfAI uses the following vetted sub-processors to deliver the service:
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management.
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, cloud storage, push notifications and crash reporting.
- Google AdMob — advertising on free tiers, with consent where required.
- OpenAI — prompt orchestration and text generation used inside the AI Photo Studio pipeline.
- Microsoft Azure — secure cloud storage and compute for image processing.
- Replicate — hosted AI image generation models used to render your portraits.
- Fal.ai — fast AI inference used for specific portrait styles.
- Google Analytics — anonymized traffic and usage analytics.
- Meta Pixel — advertising attribution, only where consent is granted.
- Vercel Analytics — web performance and traffic analytics.
4. Retention and Deletion
Source photos uploaded for AI headshot generation are retained only for as long as necessary to generate your portraits and provide you access to them. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from inside the app or by contacting us at hello@rocketdigital.ai.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent for analytics or advertising. Contact hello@rocketdigital.ai to exercise any of these rights.
6. Children
SelfAI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us for deletion.
7. International Transfers
SelfAI is operated from Hong Kong and our sub-processors operate globally. By using SelfAI you consent to the transfer of your data to jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, restricted access controls and vetted sub-processors to protect your selfies and account data. No service is perfectly secure — we take security seriously but cannot guarantee absolute protection.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
